Track History

This track was built in 1939!

Williams Grove Speedway is one of the most historic tracks on the World of Outlaws Sprint Car schedule, having hosted the Series since 1978.

The famed Pennsylvania oval is home to the National Open each October, one of Sprint Car racing's crown jewel events. While the World of Outlaws Late Models don't currently compete here, Williams Grove hosted the inaugural World of Outlaws Late Model Series race in 1988.

Williams Grove is also the epicenter of the legendary World of Outlaws vs. Pennsylvania Posse rivalry. Every visit to Pennsylvania brings a matchup between the nation's best touring drivers and the region's top local stars, creating an atmosphere that's as close as dirt racing gets to a college gameday. Fueled largely by passionate fans, the rivalry has become one of the sport's most celebrated traditions.

Fans can also enjoy weekly racing action from Williams Grove Speedway on DIRTVision.
