The World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series makes its final trip of 2023 to North Dakota for a doubleheader weekend at two fan-favorite tracks.
First, the Series will make its second trip of the year to River Cities Speedway for the 2nd Leg of the Northern Tour on Friday, Aug. 25. Then, the Series returns to Red River Valley Speedway for The Duel in The Dakotas on Saturday, Aug. 26.
Ten-time Series champion Donny Schatz, of Fargo, ND, has mastered both tracks, scoring 12 Series wins at River Cities and six at Red River Valley. Overall, he has 23 wins at River Cities and nine at Red River Valley. However, his last Series win at River Cities came in 2019 and his last at Red River Valley came in 2021.
Championship contender David Gravel won at River Cities earlier this year and Carson Macedo earned his first win at Red River Valley last year.
