It’s just two weeks until the return of the Craftsman World of Outlaws Sprint Car series to the 3/8-mile Dodge City Raceway Park clay oval in southwest Kansas. The top Sprint Car drivers in the world will battle it out in the Saturday night, October 20, “Boot Hill Showdown”.

CONCORD, NC — October 1, 2018 — The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car and Late Model Series are excited to announce this year’s television partnership with the CBS Sports Network is set to commence next month, on October 21, with the airing of the 2018 Kings Royal at Eldora Speedway.
The World of Outlaws and the DIRTvision production team worked with National Speed Sport News to produce eight hours of television, including shows from the Kings Royal at Eldora Speedway (OH), the Prairie Dirt Classic at Fairbury American Legion Speedway (IL) — televised to a national audience for the first time ever — and the World of Outlaws World Finals presented by Can-Am at The Dirt Track at Charlotte (NC).
MECHANICSBURG, PA – September 29, 2018 – The all-time Williams Grove win leader, Lance Dewease, passed Brock Zearfoss on Lap 24 and never looked back to win his 15th World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series Feature of his career. Dewease, full of emotion in Victory Lane, dedicated the $56,000 Champion Racing Oil National Open win to the late, great Greg Hodnett. Daryn Pittman came from eighth to second with Brian Montieth completing the podium at the famous Williams Grove Speedway.

Scelzi becomes the youngest driver to ever win a World of Outlaws race at the ripe age of 16 years old. Gravel settled for second with Lucas Wolfe completing the podium.
