PEVELY, MO — In World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series action on Friday night, Kyle Larson broke the track record at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55, becoming the first driver in track history to turn a lap under 10 seconds when he circled the high-banked 1/3-mile dirt oval in 9.995 seconds. It was also the first time Larson has competed with the World of Outlaws at Federated Auto Parts Raceway.
The previous track record of 10.115 seconds was held by Logan Schuchart. The World of Outlaws have raced at Federated Auto Parts Raceway since 1987.
