Mid-Week Promotion Sets Stage For $20,000-To-Win World of Outlaws Late Model Series Spectacular On March 30-31

FARMER CITY, IL – March 24, 2012 – The fourth running of the ‘Illini 100’ will rock Farmer City Raceway on March 30-31, but the build-up to the $20,000-to-win World of Outlaws Late Model Series spectacular will begin on Tues., March 27, about a half-hour’s drive southeast of the quarter-mile clay oval.

Farmer City promoter Jeff Hammer has organized the inaugural Illini 100 Kickoff Party & Car Show for 4-8 p.m. on March 27 at the Bob Evans restaurant on 1813 N. Neil Road in Champaign, Ill., providing both diehard and casual fans an opportunity to see some of the cars and drivers that will compete in the track’s blockbuster event.

New York Track Set To Host Renowned National Tour For First Time

CONCORD, NC – March 15, 2012 – Little Valley Speedway will host the World of Outlaws Late Model Series for the first time on Wed., Aug. 29, track and series officials announced on Thursday.

The New York track’s 50-lap, $10,000-to-win event replaces the WoO LMS program that had previously been scheduled for the same date at McKean County Raceway in East Smethport, Pa.

Fourth Running Of World of Outlaws Late Model Series Event Will Also Include $5,000-To-Win UMP Modified Special

CONCORD, NC – Feb. 15, 2012 – The World of Outlaws Late Model Series ‘Illini 100’ is back at Farmer City Raceway this season – and if the past is any indication, demand for tickets to the fourth running of the race on March 30-31 will be high.

Reserved seat and general admission tickets are set to go on sale for the $20,000-to-win weekend spectacular, which developed into one of the country’s most hailed events when it was contested from 2008-2010 at the high-banked, quarter-mile oval. The Illini 100 was scheduled to be run last year at LaSalle (Ill.) Speedway but was canceled due to inclement weather for the first time in its short history.

2012 World of Outlaws Late Model Series Schedule Continues To Grow With Addition Of Three Events

I-77 Raceway Park, North Central Speedway & Independence Motor Speedway Join National Tour

CONCORD, NC – March 5, 2012 – The World of Outlaws Late Model Series is now poised to match its record for A-Mains contested in a single season following Monday’s announcement that three dates have been added to the 2012 schedule.

With 50-lap, $10,000-to-win events inked for I-77 Raceway Park in Ripley, W.Va., on May 27, North Central Speedway in Brainerd, Minn., on July 14 and Independence (Iowa) Motor Speedway on Aug. 6, the national tour’s slate currently lists 49 race dates comprising 44 A-Mains in 20 states and three Canadian provinces. The completion of 44 A-Mains would tie the 2007 and 2010 campaigns as the busiest in series history.
