JOHNNY’S FIVE:
David Gravel
Why: Until proven otherwise, number one on this list every week. The defending champ is doing historical things. Gravel has been second at Red River Valley Speedway twice in his career, but has yet to take the checkered first.
Donny Schatz
Why: Donny in his home state (and adopted hometown) is VERY VERY good. He has six World of Outlaws wins and 13 overall to go along with 29 top-five finishes at the track.
Logan Schuchart
Why: A win two years ago shows the pilot of the Shark Racing No. 1S knows his way to Victory Lane in West Fargo. Recently, he scored his second win of the 2025 campaign last week at Attica.
Carson Macedo
Why: Macedo swept the North Dakota weekend in August last year. He has two career wins at Red River Valley and enters the weekend with momentum after his recent win at Atomic Speedway.
Bill Balog
Why: A top-five finish in his Red River Valley debut last year was impressive. So was a Talladega victory earlier this year. Fargo is a place Balog could continue to impress.
