World of Outlaws Returns To Santa Maria Raceway March 21

The Series will return to the California track for the first time in 22 years

For the first time in 22 years, the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series on Sunday, March 21, will return to Santa Maria Raceway.

The Nipomo, CA track will serve as the second stop on the 2021 Spring California Swing for “The Greatest Show on Dirt.”

“After years away we’re thrilled to make our return to Santa Maria Raceway,” World of Outlaw Series Director Carlton Reimers said. “The track will be an exciting addition to this year’s West Coast Swing.”

Californians such as two-time defending champion Brad Sweet, 2019 Rookie of the Year Carson Macedo and Mason Daniel willing be gunning for a home-state win against a field of the best Sprint Car drivers in the world like 10-time Series champion Donny Schatz, 2019 Knoxville Nationals champion David Gravel and Aaron Reutzel, who will compete for the 2021 Rookie of the Year title with Cali-based Roth Motorsports.

A win at Santa Maria for any of the full-time Series competitors would be their first. The last time the World of Outlaws visited the 1/3-mile track in 1999 Jason Statler won. Twenty-time champion Steve Kinser holds the most Series wins at the track with seven.

Tickets for the event will be available Monday, Feb. 1, at WorldofOutlaws.com/tix.
