Each week we’ll be looking at the statistics of how a full-time World of Outlaws driver has performed at the DIRTcar Nationals for the past five years, leading up to the Feb. 7-9, 2020, event

Ten-time World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series champion Donny Schatz will be on a mission in 2020. Not only will he be on the hunt for his 11th Series championship, he’s also only six wins away from his 300th career win.

The Fargo, N.D.-driver’s hunt to achieve both will start Feb. 7-9 at the DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park. Schatz has 12 wins overall at the half-mile speedway and won the Big Gator in 2018. Last year was the first time in five years Schatz didn’t win during the season opening event. However, he finished fifth and third, respectively.

Schatz and Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing will be poised for a strong start to the 2020 season.
