VOLUSIA DRIVER PREVIEW: How David Gravel stacks up at DIRTcar Nationals
Justin Fiedler
Gravel and Jason Johnson Racing will look to start their second year together with a win in Florida

Each week we’ll be looking at the statistics of how a full-time World of Outlaws driver has performed at the DIRTcar Nationals for the past five years, leading up to the Feb. 7-9, 2020, event

After sweeping the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series’ season finale at the Can-Am World Finals last year, David Gravel will look to continue his winning streak at the 2020 DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park.

The Watertown, CT driver returns to Jason Johnson Racing in 2020 for his second year with the team. He and the team had a spectacular first season together last year, winning 12 races – including the Knoxville Nationals.

Gravel has yet to win a Series race at the half-mile speedway. However, he’s had success at the season opening event, winning the Big Gator in 2017. He and JJR will be on the hunt for a strong start to the 2020 season.
