Each week we’ll dive into the statistics of how a full-time World of Outlaws driver has performed at the DIRTcar Nationals for the past five years, leading up to the Feb. 7-9, 2020, event
Brad Sweet will enter the 2020 DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park with a new stride, and a new title – 2019 World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series champion.
Sweet, of Grass Valley, Calif., has been one of the most successful drivers during the season opening triple-header in Florida. In total, he has four wins at the half-mile speedway and won the DIRTcar Nationals Big Gator championship in 2016.
After two fourth-place finishes in-a-row at the event in 2019, Sweet and his Kasey Kahne Racing team will look for another strong start to the season while they hunt for back-to-back titles.
