Tickets on sale for World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series return to I-30 Speedway on April 26

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — February 18, 2016 — Tickets are now on sale for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series return to I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Arkansas on Tuesday, April 26 and can be purchased online at slspromotions.ticketforce.com or by calling SLS Promotions at 815-344-2023.

The event will mark the first time since 1994 that the series has competed at the quarter-mile bullring, affectionately known as “Hammer Hill.” The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series has contested a total of nine A-Feature events at I-30 Speedway dating back to 1979.

A total of four current drives competing with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series full-time in 2016 have won at I-30 Speedway during the Short Track Nationals, in 360-sprint car competition. Paul McMahan won the event twice, while current World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series point leader Brad Sweet, veteran Jason Sides and Jason Johnson have also been victorious in what is traditionally one of the biggest and highest-paying 360-sprint car events of the year.

The 2016 season recently kicked off for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series in Florida. Sweet was victorious on opening night for Kasey Kahne Racing and followed that up with another win in the finale of the three-night event. Donny Schatz, the seven-time and defending series champion, who drives for Tony Stewart Racing, won on the second night. On the strength of his two wins, along with a runner-up finish, Sweet is the current series point leader.

Battling Sweet and Schatz in 2016 is a talented group of full-time competitors, including: Shane Stewart, who drives for Larson Marks Racing, co-owned by NASCAR driver Kyle Larson, Sweet’s teammate, Daryn Pittman the, 2013 series champion, veterans Joey Saldana, Paul McMahan and Sides, as well as up-and-coming young drivers David Gravel, Logan Schuchart and Jacob Allen, sophomore driver Jason Johnson and rookie contender Greg Wilson from Ohio.
