Curious which drivers you should keep an eye on at each World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series event? Series Announcer Johnny Gibson will bring you his five drivers to watch each week.

This week: Gettysburg Clash at Lincoln Speedway (PA), May 7

JOHNNY’S FIVE:

David Gravel
Why: Until proven otherwise, number one on this list every week. The defending champ is doing historical things. Gravel is also the defending Gettysburg Clash winner and has two career wins at Lincoln Speedway.

Donny Schatz
Why: Schatz got the win in the Series’ last Lincoln event in October. He also enters the Gettysburg Clash with momentum after earning his best finish of the season with a runner-up effort at Eldora Speedway.

Carson Macedo
Why: Macedo finished second at Lincoln with the Series in October and finished third in last year’s Gettysburg Clash. The Jason Johnson Racing driver also has two wins at Lincoln.

Anthony Macri
Why: Macri earned a win against the World of Outlaws at Lincoln in 2023. Two of his 13 career victories at Lincoln have come this season. He’ll be looking to improve on what was, by his standards, a disappointing start to the season, having scored three top-10 finishes in 10 starts with the World of Outlaws.

Danny Dietrich
Why: The 2012 and 2013 World of Outlaws Lincoln winner returned to the top five with the series in October with a fourth-place finish. He’s podiumed in four of five Lincoln starts this season, including a March victory (the 64th of his career).

You can follow these drivers and more tonight at Lincoln Speedway by getting your tickets in advance or at the gate.

If you can’t make it to the track, you can watch every lap live – with Johnny Gibson – on DIRTVision.

UP NEXT: World of Outlaws HVAC Distributors Morgan Cup at Williams Grove Speedway, May 9-10

If you can’t make it to Williams Grove on Friday, NOS Energy Drink and the World of Outlaws are joining forces to power the World’s Largest Sprint Car Watch Party on Friday, May 9, from historic Williams Grove Speedway. Fans can watch with viewers around the world at watchworldofoutlaws.com or on the RACER Network platforms, DIRTVision, and World of Outlaws social media channels for FREE at 7 p.m. (ET) in what will be the largest number of viewers to watch a Sprint Car race.
