The Oakwood, IL driver enters Ponderosa Speedway/Brownstown Speedway weekend (July 14-15) with a 52-point lead over Chris Madden..

MOVERS:

Chris Madden [-1]: With only one top-five finish during World of Outlaws Heartland Speedweek, Madden dropped out of the points lead for the first time since DIRTcar Nationals. However, Madden did score three top 10s during the six-race swing, a ninth at Off-Road, a fifth at River Cities, and a sixth at I-94.

Ryan Gustin [+3]: A win, three top fives, and six top 10s in the Heartland vaulted the Marshalltown, IA driver to third in the standings—54 points behind Pierce entering Ponderosa and Brownstown. Gustin has nine straight top-10 finishes dating back to the Battle at the Border finale at Sharon Speedway in May.

Nick Hoffman [-2]: While Nick Hoffman had three top fives in the six World of Outlaws Heartland Speedweek Features, his finishes of 24th and 13th in North Dakota dropped him two spots to fourth in the standings.

Kyle Bronson [-3]: Bronson’s World of Outlaws Heartland Speedweek was a tale of two halves. The Brandon, FL driver opened the week with a 23rd at 81, a 12th at Off Road, and a 12th at Mason City before bouncing back with a third at Red River Valley, a second at River Cities, and a seventh at I-94.

However, those first three finishes knocked him back three spots to fifth, 76 points behind Pierce.

Brandon Sheppard [+1]: Three podium finishes during the six-race Heartland swing moved Sheppard to sixth in the standings—100 points behind Pierce. The four-time Series champion is inching closer to a win, after two seconds at Off Road and I-94, along with a third at Mason City.

Brian Shirley [-2]: Despite four top 10s during World of Outlaws Heartland Speedweek, a 24th at Off Road and an 18th at Mason City was enough to knock the Chatham, IL driver back two spots to seventh.

Shane Clanton [+1]: After falling out of the top 10 at the beginning of June, the “Georgia Bulldog” has moved back to 10th. Clanton scored two podiums during World of Outlaws Heartland Speedweek, a third at Off Road, and a second at Mason City.
