POINTS UPDATE: Bobby Pierce Extends Points Lead, Brandon Sheppard Continues Climb

Keep up with the latest movers chasing the 2023 World of Outlaws CASE Construction Equipment Late Model Series championship.  

LATEST RACE: Ponderosa Speedway (July 14) 

CURRENT POINTS LEADER: Despite narrowly missing out on a win at Ponderosa Speedway last weekend, Series points leader Bobby Pierce extended his lead over Chris Madden to 56 points.  

The Oakwood, IL driver has finished in the top five in 12 of his last 15 World of Outlaws starts, including four wins and nine podium finishes. 

MOVERS: 

Brandon Sheppard [+1]: The four-time World of Outlaws CASE Late Models champion scored a third-place finish at Ponderosa—his second straight podium finish and fourth in the last six races. That finish moved him up one spot in the standings to fifth, 102 points behind Pierce. 

Kyle Bronson [-1]: A flat right-rear tire during Friday’s Johnny Mulligan Classic at Ponderosa dropped the Brandon, FL driver to a 17th-place finish. He also dropped one spot in the standings to sixth, 106 out of first.
