INDIANAPOLIS (June 21, 2012) – With summer officially underway, it seems only appropriate the next stop on the rugged World of Outlaws (WoO) Sprint Car Series tour is in Dodge City, Kan., where temperatures are expected to rise above 90 degrees this weekend. The 2012 WoO championship standings have been hotly contested all season and Tony Stewart Racing (TSR) drivers Steve Kinser and Donny Schatz have been major players in the battle.

Name: Randy Wolfe
Hometown: Mechanicsburg, Pa.
Team: Allebach Racing #5w
Title: Crew Chief
Background: Randy raced sprint cars from 1976-99, winning a variety of races and claiming the Port Royal Speedway championship in 1982. He gave up his seat when he saw the potential in his son, Lucas, whom he has crewed for since the beginning.
Kraig Kinser Makes the Trek to Dodge City for the Boot Hill Showdown
Bloomington, Ind. — June 20, 2012 — A new breed of Outlaws rolled into Dodge City in 2004, wheeling 900-horsepower winged sprint cars, and have been coming back to the town in southwestern Kansas, which celebrates the Old West, each and every year since, for the Boot Hill Showdown. Kraig Kinser was at Dodge City for the series inaugural event and has competed in a majority of the World of Outlaws events at the state-of-the-art three-eighths-mile dating back to that contest.
Fargo Return Yields 6th for Dollansky
For the first time in three years Craig Dollansky and the rest of the World of Outlaws returned to Red River Valley Speedway in Fargo, North Dakota. Now reconfigured to a 3/8-mile, the Big Game Treestands #7 team was ready to sling dirt on Saturday after recording their eleventh podium finish of the season up the interstate in Grand Forks the night before.
Lakeside Hosts Outlaws June 30
World of Outlaws Return to Lakeside Speedway on Saturday, June 30
Swindell and Steve Kinser have each won a series-best three times at the half mile
KANSAS CITY, Kan. — June 19, 2012 — Sammy Swindell has the distinct honor of winning at Lakeside Speedway on two different surfaces.
Swindell won on dirt in 1983 and on pavement in 1991 and 1992 at the semi-banked, half mile, which hosts the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series on Saturday, June 30.
Dirt fans, don’t worry. Lakeside Speedway is no longer paved and the track is better than ever after a flood ended last season early at the facility.
“That’s a really racy race track,” Chad Kemenah said. “It seems like cars get going all over – top, bottom, middle, everywhere. We always have a huge turnout of fans who come out and support that, which is really neat. It’s a fun race to race.”
Tony Stewart Racing Teammates Put Up Podium Performances in North Dakota
It was a good weekend to be home for Tony Stewart Racing’s (TSR) Donny Schatz. The four-time WoO champion returned to his home state of North Dakota for a pair of World of Outlaws (WoO) Sprint Car Series events, and the driver of the TSR No. 15 STP/Armor All/Chevrolet J&J finished fourth Friday at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks and third Saturday at Red River Valley Speedway in Fargo.

Kraig Kinser Wraps up the Duel in the Dakotas with a Top-Five
Bloomington, Ind. — June 17, 2012 — In a sprint car race every lap is important, but the second half of an A-Feature event is crucial, and having a car that gets better as the race wears is a goal that every team shoots for. Kraig Kinser was able to make a late-race charge both nights this past weekend during the Duel in the Dakotas, winning the opener at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, on Friday night, and finishing fifth in the finale at Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo, on Saturday to earn his 10th Top-10 Five finish of the season.
