By Kevin Kovac, WoO LMS P.R. Director

CANANDAIGUA, NY – June 26, 2012 – Darrell Lanigan spoiled Tim McCreadie’s home-track party on Tuesday night, driving to a convincing victory in the 40-lap World of Outlaws Late Model Series A-Main at Canandaigua Motorsports Park.

In a mid-week event carrying sponsorship from Sweeteners Plus – the nearby business owned by McCreadie’s team owner Carl Myers – and Ballantyne RV & Marine, Lanigan sailed his Rocket car around the half-mile oval’s outside lane to take the lead from race-long pacesetter Shane Clanton of Fayetteville, Ga., on lap 23 and never looked back. The 42-year-old star from Union, Ky., ran unchallenged for the remainder of the caution-free race, beating Watertown, N.Y.’s McCreadie to the finish line by 2.971 seconds.

By Kevin Kovac, WoO LMS P.R. Director

CORNWALL, ONT – June 24, 2012 – The World of Outlaws Late Model Series’s blessed relationship with Mother Nature in 2012 came to an end on Sunday when showers struck Cornwall Motor Speedway, forcing the national tour’s first rainout of the season.

More than 20 dirt Late Models were already on hand and more were waiting to enter the pit area when precipitation began about 3 p.m. Cornwall owner Ron Morin made the decision to call off the night’s program after rain fell steadily for an hour and radar indicated that there was little hope of substantial clearing for the remainder of the evening.

Kraig Kinser Wins Finale of Boot Hill Showdown to Earn Third Victory in Seven Races

Bloomington, Ind. — June 24, 2012 — What a difference a night makes. After having one of the fastest cars on Friday in the opener of the Boot Hill Showdown for the World of Outlaws at Dodge City Raceway Park in Kansas, and not much to show for it, having endured more than his fair share of bad luck, Kraig Kinser made up for that on Saturday night, as he again had one of the fastest cars, and would lead all 30 laps of the A-Feature to pick up his first career win at Dodge City and his third victory in the last seven races aboard the Hendrickcars.com Maxim.

Kinser Victorious on Night 1 of the Boot Hill Showdown

‘The King’ picks up career Outlaws win No. 573 at Dodge City Raceway Park

DODGE CITY, Kan. — June 22, 2012 — The spin seemed like it was in slow motion.

Polesitter Jason Sides, who led the first 12 laps on a gusty Night 1 of the Boot Hill Showdown on Friday at Dodge City Raceway Park, looped it in turn one just prior to the midway point. As Sides kept his car under power, Steve Kinser dodged the melee to capture the lead and eventually the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series victory, which was career No. 573.

“I was pretty sure we were going to drive by him,” said a grinning Kinser, who also won the first-ever Outlaws event at Dodge City Raceway Park in 2004. “He did get a little sideways. It made it a little bit easier.”
