Though Jason Sides has stepped out of the driver’s seat, his legacy at Ohsweken Speedway remains firmly intact. During the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series’ early visits to the Canadian oval, Sides captured three wins in the first four events—a dominant stretch that helped shape the track’s early Outlaw history. Now, as the Series returns to Ohsweken for the first time since 2017, a new chapter begins. Canton, Illinois native Chris Windom—currently second in the chase for the Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year—now pilots the Sides Motorsports No. 7S. He’ll look to rekindle the team’s past success and bring speed back to the Great North.
