The focus turns to the $20,000-to-win Morgan Cup finale on Saturday at Williams Grove
With nearly an inch of rain falling overnight into Friday morning in Mechanicsburg, PA, more rain forecasted throughout the day, and cold temperatures and overcast skies preventing track drying efforts, World of Outlaws NOS Energy Sprint Car Series and track officials have agreed to cancel the HVAC Distributors Morgan Cup opener.
If you purchased a ticket in advance for Friday’s Williams Grove Speedway event, you will receive a face-value credit to your MyDirtTickets.com account – good for two years – to be used toward any World of Outlaws event available at WorldofOutlaws.com/tix. If a credit to your account does not work, you have until June 9 to request a refund.
The Series now shifts its focus to Saturday’s HVAC Distributors Morgan Cup finale at Williams Grove as the World of Outlaws and PA Posse face off for $20,000 and possession of the coveted Cup. For tickets, CLICK HERE.
The cancellation means the World’s Largest Sprint Car Watch Party powered by NOS Energy Drink will shift to Saturday, May 10, from Williams Grove Speedway. Fans can watch for FREE with viewers around the world at watchworldofoutlaws.com or on the RACER Network platforms, DIRTVision, and World of Outlaws social media channels at 7 p.m. (ET) in what will be the largest number of viewers to watch a Sprint Car race.
