Heavy Rain Cancels Night One of Bike Week Jamboree

Volusia Rain
The focus turns to Monday’s finale at Volusia Speedway Park

With heavy, persistent rain hitting Volusia Speedway Park throughout Sunday afternoon creating hazardous grounds and more rain forecasted to fall Sunday evening, World of Outlaws NOS Energy Sprint Car and track officials have agreed to cancel night one of the Bike Week Jamboree.

The decision comes after consulting with Wayne Mahar of Precision Weather Service.

If you purchased a ticket in advance for Sunday’s Volusia Speedway Park race, you will receive a face-value credit to your MyDirtTickets.com account – good for two years – to be used toward any World of Outlaws event available at WorldofOutlaws.com/tix. If a credit to your account does not work for you, then you have until April 3 to request a refund.

If you bought a Sunday single-day ticket or pit pass on site, either can be exchanged on Monday if you wish to attend the Bike Week Jamboree finale. If you would like a refund for the on-site purchase, please mail the ticket or wristband to 7575 W Winds Blvd NW Ste D, Concord, NC 28027 in an envelope postmarked by April 3.

If you bought a two-day ticket or pit pass package on site, please mail the ticket or wristband to the above address in an envelope postmarked by April 3.

The Series now shifts its focus to Monday’s Bike Week Jamboree finale at “The World’s Fastest Half-Mile.” For tickets, CLICK HERE.

David Gravel currently leads the points by 10 markers over Giovanni Scelzi. 10-time Series champion – Donny Schatz – isn’t far behind with 20 points separating Gravel and himself.

If you can’t make it to the track, catch every lap live on DIRTVision.
