World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series at a Glance

Stockton 99 Dirt Track, Silver Dollar Speedway

STOCKTON, Calif. – March 18, 2013 – The World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series will head to a pair of tracks on the opposite end of the historic spectrum.

On Friday, the series will debut at the brand new Stockton 99 Dirt Track – a 3/8 mile that was built into the horse track at the San Joaquin Fairgrounds.

On Saturday, the famed Silver Dollar Speedway hosts the premier sprint car series for the annual Mini Gold Cup. Donny Schatz claimed two features at the quarter mile last season, including the Mini Gold Cup.

WHEN

Friday, March 22, at Stockton 99 Dirt Track in Stockton, Calif. The front gate is scheduled to open at 1 p.m. with hot laps set for 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, March 23, at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, Calif. The front gate is scheduled to open at 5 p.m. with hot laps set for 6:15 p.m.

Stockton 99 Dirt Track is a semi-banked, 3/8-mile oval. This is the first race at the track.

Silver Dollar Speedway is a high-banked, quarter-mile oval. The track record of 10.918 seconds was established by Joey Saldana on March 13, 2009.
