The World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series will resume its rivalry with the PA Posse this summer, during the Bricker’s Bash at BAPS Motor Speedway on Wednesday, July 24.

The mid-week show will see the world-leading competitors with the World of Outlaws compete against the best local Sprint Car talent in Pennsylvania at the 4/10-mile dirt track for a $12,000 top prize.

Last year, which was the World of Outlaws’ first time back at the track in over 30 years, saw David Gravel best Brad Sweet to score his first win at BAPS.

Gravel is also the only driver with a World of Outlaws win in Pennsylvania this year, having won at Lincoln Speedway in May.

Pennsylvania native Logan Schuchart will be on the hunt for a home state win, which would be his first since winning at Williams Grove Speedway last July. Before that win, he finished third at BAPS. With the Bricker’s Bash again leading into the Summer Nationals at Williams Grove Speedway, Schuchart will look to repeat his success from last year and give his season a needed boost.

While the event will be the World of Outlaws’ first trip to BAPS this year, the local stars have already been racking up wins. Anthony Macri and Danny Dietrich have both won Central PA Sprint Car Points Series races at the track this year.

For Dietrich it was his 19th Points Series victory there. He’s also the current points leader at the track, holding a strong lead over the top three – Troy Wagaman, Jr. and Freddie Rahmer.
