Billy Moyer is hailed as one of the greatest dirt Late Model drivers in the sport's history. Since his first state in 1977, the Batesville, AR driver's illustrious career includes over 850 Feature race wins. Among his greatest triumphs are the World 100, Dirt Late Model Dream, Prairie Dirt Classic, Gopher 50, USA Nationals, and three Illini 100 wins. "Mr. Smooth" holds the record as the winningest Super Late Model driver at DIRTcar Nationals with 19.

In the only two years of the Ted Johnson-owned World of Outlaws Late Model Series, Moyer got the championship in 1988 and 1989 before the Series went dormant for 15 years. Moyer was a member of the iconic Dirty Dozen of 2004, then won his third Series title in 2005 in a tie with Steve Francis in the championship. Moyer won the tie-breaker by finishing ahead of Francis in the final race by one position on the track.

The National Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer is also a champion in the Hav-A-Tampa Dirt Racing Series and is a six-time champion of the Summer Nationals. He continues to race in a storied career that will never be forgotten.
