Illinois natives have won all three previous series events at Maquoketa, with Brian Shirley sweeping both races in 2024 before Bobby Pierce edged Shirley by just 0.056 seconds in one of the closest finishes in series history last year. Shirley has never finished worse than second in three starts at the track, while Pierce arrives after tying the all-time World of Outlaws Late Model Series single-season record with his 18th victory of 2026.
