WEST FARGO, ND – August 18, 2018 – Donny Schatz completed the weekend sweep of his home state of North Dakota, taking the lead on Lap 23 to win his 17th World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series Feature of 2018 Saturday night at Red River Valley Speedway. The series returned to the three-eighths-mile last year, after a five-year hiatus. The late Jason Johnson added his name to the record books as a winner at Red River Valley Speedway. WEST FARGO, ND — August 9, 2018 — The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series invades Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo, ND, on Saturday, August 18 for the Gerdau Recycling Duel in the Dakotas.
The late Jason Johnson was victorious at Red River Valley Speedway last year in his debut at the track. The 2016 winner of the Knoxville Nationals held off a hard-charging Kerry Madsen and Donny Schatz for the win.
WEST FARGO, ND – August 19, 2017 – Jason Johnson started on the outside of the front row, took command down the backstretch on the opening circuit and never looked back to score his third win of the season Saturday at Red River Valley Speedway. Johnson survived heavy traffic and multiple restarts to pick up the popular victory. Australian Kerry Madsen and Shane Stewart completed the podium.

WEST FARGO, ND — June 12, 2017 — The Gerdau Recycling Duel in the Dakotas was a longtime fixture on the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series schedule. The event returns on Saturday, June 17, marking the first time since 2012 that the series has visited the track in West Fargo, North Dakota. Leading the way will be eight-time and reigning series champion Donny Schatz who now calls Fargo home. This edition of The Breakdown sets the stage for the 2017 edition of the Gerdau Recycling Duel in the Dakotas for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series at Red River Valley Speedway.

WEST FARGO, ND — June 7, 2017 —The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series will hit the track at Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo, North Dakota for the first time since 2012 on Saturday, June 17 for the Gerdau Recycling “Duel in the Dakotas.”
In the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series last visit to Red River Valley Speedway in 2012, three-time series champion and Hall of Famer Sammy Swindell was victorious. Swindell started on the pole and led early, before Chad Kemenah took the top spot on lap-9. Swindell would re-take the lead with eight lap remaining to earn his seventh Feature win at the track.
