Heavy Rain Showers Force Plymouth Speedway Return To Be Postponed

SC_Rainout_Plymouth

Persistent rain showers and continued showers during the event creating saturated grounds at Plymouth Speedway have forced World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series and track officials to postpone Sunday’s event. Officials are working on a rain date to reschedule the event.

All tickets and pit passes will be honored for the postponed date at Plymouth. Make sure to hang on to your tickets and wrist bands. If you’re not able to make it to the make-up date, information will be provided on how to get a refund when that date is announced.

Qualifying was completed before the rains came, therefore Donny Schatz is still officially the new track record holder at Plymouth with an 11.061 sec. lap.

The Greatest Show on Dirt will continue its high-octane Fri., Aug. 7 and Sat., Aug. 8 for the Ironman 55 doubleheader weekend at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55. Get tickets by clicking here.

If you can’t make it to the track, you can still watch all of the action live on DIRTVision.
