TELFORD, PA. – October 15, 2014 – With only four more attempts to get to victory lane in the 2014 season, the pressure is beginning to mount for Paul McMahan and the #51 CJB Motorsports team.

“One of goals is to close out the season with a win or two,” said Paul McMahan, driver of the Bairs Tree Service/Nyce Crete & Landis Block & Concrete/All Star Performance sponsored machine. “It gives you something to build off of heading into the off season. There are a few tracks coming up where we feel like we will do really well.”

Rolling Wheels Raceway was the site of the finale event of the Outlaws schedule in the state of New York. Through three events in the Empire State this season, McMahan and the team came into the event with three top-10’s and an average finish of 6.7.

“We timed in 8th which put on the outside pole of our heat race,” explained McMahan. “We needed to win to make the dash and we didn’t. For the feature, we had to start tenth and we tried out some stuff we’ve been curious about. We picked up a four spots to finish sixth so it wasn’t a bad night. We learned a few things that I think will help us out for the rest of this year and even into next year as we head to tracks for the final time this season.”

Speaking of final trips, the ‘Greatest Show on Dirt’ returns to Ohio for the last time in 2014 as the series tackles Fremont Speedway on Saturday, October 18th.

“Fremont is a tough place to go race,” said McMahan. “The locals there are very good and always a threat. The pill draw is very important there. This late in the year, it’s not as crucial but still a big factor. However, if you can make it through your heat race and into the feature, you stand a fighting chance. It’s a very racy surface and you can make up positions on it. On the flip side, they don’t call it the ‘Action Track’ for night. It’s going to be a fun yet demanding race.”
