World of Outlaws driver Emerson Axsom has been fined and placed on probation following a physical altercation at Cedar Lake Speedway on Saturday, June 27.
Axsom, who drives the No. 27 Sprint Car for Klaasmeyer/Petry Motorsports, was involved in an off-track incident that resulted in physical contact prior to the event’s Driver’s Meeting.
He has been fined $500 and placed on probation for the remainder of the 2026 World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series season.

Section 7, Paragraph F, Any member and/or participant involved in an altercation that results in physical contact will be subject to penalty and/or disqualification and/or fine and/or suspension and/or legal action and/or any other action deemed appropriate by World Racing Group Supervisory Officials.
