World of Outlaws officials have fined Garet Williamson for a wheel cover coming off his No. 23 Sprint Car at River Cities Speedway, Aug. 28.
While competing in Heat Race 3 of the event, the right rear wheel cover came off the No. 23 car driven by Williamson. The violation was witnessed and confirmed by World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series officials.
Due to the violation, Williamson has been fined $500.

Chapter 3, Section 9, Paragraph G, the loss of any wheel cover is subject to a minimum of a $500 fine and could result in further penalties as determined by World of Outlaws officials.
