Lake Elmo, MN Native Returning for Fourth Season with World of Outlaws in 2021

Brent Larson has been finding a lot of pieces to the puzzle lately.

For The B1 Bomber, 2020 was a year of refinement. It was about building his program for the future, and boy is he doing just that.

He already switched to a fleet of Rocket XR-1 Chassis powered by Vic Hill Racing Engines, and today he announced his latest move. Officially confirming his return for a fourth full-time season with the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series in 2021, Larson will be back with a brand new look thanks to a primary sponsor partnership with Motul – a deal overseen by Driver Motorsports International.

“I’m beyond excited and incredibly thankful for this new long-term title sponsorship with Motul,” Larson noted on this addition to his team. “It’s great to represent a truly premium global motor oil and lubricant brand with such a rich history in motorsports. I’m immensely proud to represent Motul on this platform with the World of Outlaws; it’s an honor to join such a great organization. I can’t wait to get to Volusia and start this new season off right. We’ve made a lot of changes to our program, our motor program is the best it’s ever been, and we are excited to debut this new Motul powered Rocket XR-1 too.”

A starter of 138 career World of Outlaws Late Model features, Larson has been a mainstay on tour since his arrival in 2018. Over the years, his hard work and perseverance on a grueling road with The Powerful Late Models on the Planet has paid off. He’s got 20 top ten finishes to his credit and most recently nailed down his first career Fast Time Award with a blistering pace at the iconic Williams Grove (PA) Speedway last August, which back on tour this year on August 20.

An ace around his home area of Lake Elmo, MN, Larson owns five Cedar Lake (WI) Speedway track championships and 28 career victories, which is seventh on the all-time wins list. Leading the charge into the 34th annual USA Nationals at Cedar Lake, Larson will bring his new look, new ride, and new sponsor back home for the $50,000-to-win crown jewel this August 5-7.

He also owns track titles at Gondik Law (WI) Speedway, where the Series races on July 13; and at Red Cedar (WI) Speedway, which hosts the World of Outlaws on July 18. With 58 races across 34 tracks in 16 states, Larson will have ample opportunity to both shine on-track and represent his sponsors nationwide in 2021.

“Brent is the perfect fit as we continue to expand our racing efforts in North America,” Nolan Browning, Motul Brand Manager, commented. “We’ll be working closely with him and his team to continue testing and refining our products to make sure they have the performance needed on the track.”

Fans will get their first look at Larson’s new ride next week Thursday-Saturday, January 14-16 at Volusia (FL) Speedway Park. The three-day Late Model-Palooza at Sunshine Nationals features four divisions of late models headlined by the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series. If you can’t make it, you can watch Every Lap LIVE on DIRTVision.
