Lake Elmo, MN’s Brent Larson will maintain his status as the longest-tenured member of the World of Outlaws Late Model Series presented by DIRTVision in 2026.
The “B1 Bomber” has traveled the country with The Most Powerful Late Models on the Planet every year since 2018 and will keep the streak alive in season nine in 2026.
The 2025 season brought new beginnings for the Larson camp, as the team made the switch to Longhorn Chassis in the first half of the year in search of more speed. They also expanded their operations, as Matthew Larson joined his father at several events as he acclimated himself to the Super Late Model ranks.
As the Late Model world has come to expect, the best nights of Larson’s 2025 campaign came when the tour traveled north. He finished in the top 15 on five-straight nights in June and July, including a three-race top-10 streak at Norman County Raceway, Nodak Speedway and Deer Creek Speedway.
The northern swing will feature a new stop in 2026 that Larson has circled on the calendar, as Ogilvie Raceway will welcome the World of Outlaws on Monday, June 22. He finished seventh last time the Series visited in 2019 and made plenty of regional starts there in both Late Models and Modifieds early in his career.
Larson will begin his 2026 season with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series presented by DIRTVision at Volusia Speedway Park during DIRTcar Sunshine Nationals (Thursday-Saturday, Jan. 22-24) and Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals (Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 12-14), followed by the Swamp Cabbage 100 at Hendry County Motorsports Park (Friday-Saturday, Feb. 20-21).
