Sunshine Nationals at Volusia
Thur-Sat, January 14-16

The World of Outlaws Late Models are no stranger to kickstarting the season at Volusia Speedway Park. Florida in February (#FLinFEB) is not just an event, but a vacation for most race fans. However, January? That’s new! For the first time ever, The Most Powerful Late Models on the Planet are on the docket for the Sunshine Nationals at Volusia from Thursday-Saturday, January 14-16. This triple-header at the Barberville, Fla. half-mile not only opens a massive 55+ race schedule for the Outlaws, but also fires off a loaded month for dirt late model racing.

DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia
Wed-Sat, February 10-13

This February, we’re celebrating the 50th anniversary of the DIRTcar Nationals! A Volusia Speedway Park staple, this two-week extravaganza brings the best racers from all disciplines to one Florida half-mile for two weeks of epic action. From February 2-13, fans will witness a loaded card of classes which includes the DIRTcar UMP Modifieds, the All-Star Circuit of Champions, the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Cars, the DIRTcar Late Models, the Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modifieds, and the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Models – which conclude the event with four straight nights from Wednesday-Saturday, February 10-13.

Illini 100 at Farmer City
Fri-Sat, April 2-3

After being forced to cancel the 2020 running of the Illini 100 due to COVID-19 concerns, this Illinois crown jewel is set to come back in style in 2021. Bumped to $20,000-to-win, the 11th running at Farmer City Raceway is scheduled for Friday-Saturday, April 2-3 with a practice night for racers on Thursday, April 1. The boys from Illinois were shut out of victory lane over the course of the first five Illini’s, but since then an Illinois native has won four of the last five runnings with Shannon Babb (2014) and Brandon Sheppard (2015, 2017, 2019) carrying the load.

Hawkeye 100 at Boone
Fri, April 30 – Sat, May 1

Originally scheduled to debut in 2020 (cancelled due to COVID-19), this intriguing event created by promoter Cody Somner and the World of Outlaws is truly like no other. On top of paying $30,000-to-win to the driver who can tame Iowa’s iconic Boone Speedway, the Hawkeye 100 presents a fan experience and format that is set to drop jaws. From a trio of “Triple-Hawk” prelim features on Friday, April 30 to a THREE-WIDE start to the 100-lap main event, this soon-to-be crown jewel will keep you on your toes all weekend long.

Firecracker 100 at Lernerville
Thur-Sat, June 24-26

Rolling on to the 15th annual event, the Firecracker 100 will be back at Lernerville Speedway in June 2021 with the fan-favorite 100-lap main event set to crown a $30,000 champion. Over 14 previous years, this Sarver, Penn. crown jewel has witnessed winners from all across the map including last year’s king, Cade Dillard of Louisiana. Other victors from New York, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Iowa have risen to the occasion in this race which you never know what to expect from.

As always, if you’re unable to attend these special events, you can watch all the action from home via the DIRTVision FAST PASS.
