RAPID CITY, SD – August 24, 2018 – Brad Sweet used a double-file restart with seven laps remaining to get by race-long leader Jacob Allen and win his fifth World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series Feature of the 2018 season Friday night at Black Hills Speedway. Schatz used that same restart to surge from ninth to finish second with Dominic Scelzi completing the podium.

CONCORD, NC – August 24, 2018 – The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series will make its lone appearance in the Beaver State on Wednesday, September 5 at Willamette Speedway. Wednesday will mark the Series’ sixth-ever visit to the high-banked 3/10-mile oval in Lebanon, OR. The late Jason Johnson won a competitive race at Willamette in 2017, edging Daryn Pittman and Shane Stewart in an exciting three-car battle.
CONCORD, NC – August 22, 2018 – The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series and the newly-formed Sprint Car Council today announced rule changes for the 2019 racing season. The changes, structural in nature, are part of the ongoing effort to apply technological advances in the design and manufacture of equipment to enhance competition and safety.
CONCORD, NC — August 22, 2018 — The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series has announced a penalty to Chris Martin for violating the World of Outlaws Substance Abuse Policy during the Knoxville Nationals, August 9/10, at Knoxville Raceway. Per the Series rulebooks and the integrity of the sport, such infractions shall be announced. Members in good standing have the right to appeal the decision to the World of Outlaws Appeals Commission as provided in Section 12 of the General Rules and Specifications.
CONCORD, NC – August 21, 2018 – The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series will continue its 40th anniversary season at the always-exciting Grays Harbor Raceway in Elma, WA on Monday, September 3. Last year’s Feature finish in Elma saw Shane Stewart edge Brad Sweet by less than a quarter of a second in thrilling fashion.
BILLINGS, MT — August 21, 2018 —The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series heads to Montana for the second consecutive year on Saturday, August 25 as NAPA Auto Parts and Visit Billings presents the Brawl at Big Sky Speedway. Daryn Pittman was victorious for the second time in his career at the track last season in the Outlaws return to Billings for the first time in nearly a decade. The 2018 season has been a very competitive one with 16 drivers having picked up wins thus far. The Brawl at Big Sky Speedway will mark the series only race of the season in the state of Montana. This edition of Up to Speed sets the stage for the Big Sky Brawl at Billings.
WEST FARGO, ND – August 18, 2018 – Donny Schatz completed the weekend sweep of his home state of North Dakota, taking the lead on Lap 23 to win his 17th World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series Feature of 2018 Saturday night at Red River Valley Speedway. Jacob Allen finished second as he continues to close in on his first career Outlaw win with Kerry Madsen completing the podium for the second consecutive night.
