OCALA, FL – Feb. 4, 2013 – Keyser Manufacturing Co. will sponsor a Last Chance Race during each of the three World of Outlaws Late Model Series programs comprising the Bubba Army Late Model Winter Nationals on Feb. 15-17 at Bubba Raceway Park, giving competitors one final shot to make the A-Main lineup.

The winner of the Keyser Manufacturing Co. Last Chance Race will advance to the evening’s feature event, earning a starting spot behind the B-Main qualifiers and just in front of the provisional starters.

Northern Michigan Track Will Host National Tour For Third Consecutive Season

CONCORD, NC – Jan. 30, 2013 – With new ownership in place, Merritt Speedway in Lake City, Mich., will host the World of Outlaws Late Model Series for the third consecutive season on Sat., Aug. 17, track and series officials announced on Wednesday.

A 50-lap A-Main paying $10,000 to win will headline the late-summer program at the three-eighths-mile oval, which once again anchors a weekend WoO LMS doubleheader in the Wolverine State. The renowned full-fender circuit previously inked an Aug. 16 date at Winston Speedway in Rothbury, Mich.

CONCORD, NC – Jan. 25, 2013 – Three up-and-coming young drivers have been approved as contenders for the 2013 World of Outlaws Late Model Series Rookie of the Year Award Presented by ButlerBuilt, series officials announced on Friday.

Morgan Bagley of Longview, Texas, Eric Wells of Hazard, Ky., and Dillon Wood of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., will carry rookie status when the national tour kicks off its 2013 schedule on Feb. 8-9 with the ‘Winter Freeze’ doubleheader at Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Ga. The trio’s season-opening burst of events with the World of Outlaws will also include the Bubba Army Late Model Winter Nationals on Feb. 15-17 at Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Fla., and the 42nd UNOH DIRTcar Nationals Presented by Summit Racing Equipment on Feb. 21-23 at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Fla.

CONCORD, NC – Jan. 11, 2013 – The record-breaking 2013 World of Outlaws Late Model Series schedule continued its expansion Friday with the announcement of first-ever visits to Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, Tenn., and Fonda (N.Y.) Speedway.

Duck River is set to host the WoO LMS on Sun., March 24 – anchoring a tripleheader weekend that also includes events in Arkansas and Mississippi – while Fonda’s date on Wed., June 19, will kick off an early-summer swing through the Northeast for the national tour. Both tracks will present 50-lap A-Mains paying $10,000 to win.

DIRTcar UMP Hoosier Tire Rule In Place For World of Outlaws Late Model Series ‘Winter Freeze’ Feb. 8-9 At Screven Motor Speedway

SYLVANIA, GA – Dec. 11, 2012 – The DIRTcar UMP Hoosier tire rule will be in effect for the 2013 World of Outlaws Late Model Series season-opening ‘Winter Freeze’ on Feb. 8-9 at Screven Motor Speedway, series and track officials announced on Monday.

The decision puts Screven’s doubleheader in line on the tire-rule front with ensuing WoO LMS events at Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Fla. (Bubba Army Late Model Winter Nationals on Feb. 15-17) and Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Fla. (UNOH DIRTcar Nationals Presented by Summit Racing Equipment on Feb. 21-23). Hoosier LM 10-20-30-40 compound tires will be the only rubber permitted in the eight February racing programs.
