Wheatland, MOHaudenschild Wins Thriller in World of Outlaws Debut at Lucas Oil Speedway

 

Haudenschild took the lead for the first on the 18th lap, charging around Dollansky in traffic in turn four. Dollansky powered his way down the front straightaway and retook the lead heading into turns one and two on the very next lap. He then opened a slight lead as he sliced his way through traffic. Haudenschild caught him again on the 24th lap and took the top spot.

Clean Sweep for Saldana at Eldora: Earns Fifth Win of 2008

 

One of the toughest feats to accomplish with the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series is to sweep an event, which consists of setting fast time, winning a heat race, winning the Crane Cams Dash and also being victorious in the A-Feature event. Last season Joey Saldana was the only driver to turn the trick with the series.

The 22-year-old sensation from Shinnston, W.Va., vaulted back on top of the World of Outlaws Late Model Series points standings on Wednesday night, holding off Tim McCreadie of Watertown, N.Y., to capture the 50-lap World of Outlaws Late Model Showdown at The Dirt Track at Charlotte.
