CONCORD, N.C. – Oct. 21, 2016 – Preceding the 36th Annual Rhino Ag Dirt Track World Championship presented by Optima at Portsmouth Raceway Park (Ohio), the National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame announced its Class of 2017. Of the eight drivers graced with the honor, World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series pioneer “Scrub” Rick Eckert was one of them.

PORT ROYAL, Pa. – Oct. 15, 2016 – Unlike the others, Logan Schuchart did not scale his car right away in victory lane. Rather, the Hanover, Pa. native took the time to hug his family in front of a local crowd. Schuchart won his second World of Outlaws Craftsman® Sprint Car Series race of the season Saturday night at Port Royal Speedway – less than 100 miles from his hometown.

The Gettysburg, Pa. driver hoisted the $25,000 check in the air in front of a local crowd.

Outlaws travel to Keystone State for blockbuster weekend
CONCORD, N.C. – Oct. 13, 2016 – The World of Outlaws and Pennsylvania Posse will butt bumpers for one last weekend in 2016. The Series will meet the Posse at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, October 14 for the Champion Racing Oil National Open and Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, October 15. The weekend will be an extension of last week’s barn-burner at Fulton. But this time, the Outlaws will be in Posse territory.

Donny Schatz is the defending race winner at Lakeside, while 2013 series champion Daryn Pittman won at the track back in 2003.

SALINA, OKLA. — Oct. 12, 2016 — The World of Outlaws Craftsman® Sprint Car Series returns to Salina Highbanks Speedway on Saturday, October 22 for the O’Reilly Auto Parts Twister Showdown, which was postponed by rain back in April. The race will mark the one and only stop of the season for the “Greatest Show on Dirt” in the state of Oklahoma. Following the event, just a pair of races remain on the 2016 calendar as the series heads to Charlotte for the Bad Boy Off Road World Finals. This edition of By the Numbers sets the stage for the O’Reilly Auto Parts Twister Showdown at Salina Highbanks Speedway on Saturday, October 22.
