When Jason Meyers first took to the road full-time in 2000, the first track he won at was Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania. He has been trying to return to Victory Lane at the high-banked four-tenths mile ever since that date with the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, coming close on a number of occasions.

Jason Meyers had to wait a couple of weeks thanks to Mother Nature to continue his fast start to the 2008 Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series season, but he made the wait well worth it, as he picked up right where he left off in Florida, by winning the Cactus Classic at the famed Manzanita Speedway in Phoenix, Arizona on Saturday night.
