Three Night Weekend for Larson Marks Racing
TRIPLE DUTY: The Larson Marks Racing team will be competing in three races this weekend at two different tracks. Friday and Saturday the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series is set to compete at the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio and will follow that up on Sunday with Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Ind.
#LETSRACETWO: The World of Outlaws will make their first of three trips to Eldora Speedway this weekend for back-to-back events. The half-mile track is one of LMR’s most successful venue on the circuit where Shane Stewart and team have racked up four wins, nine top-fives and 12 top-10 finishes. Last year at the two-day event, Stewart finished 19th on Friday night and rebounded with a fifth-place finish on Saturday.
HAUBSTADT HISTORY: In 2015 at Tri-State Speedway, Stewart earned the quickest lap time of the night in qualifying, but didn’t transfer out of his heat race. After winning the Last Chance Showdown, the Bixby, Okla., native then finished 15th in the feature at the quarter-mile bullring. Last year, Stewart qualified 17th and finished fifth in his heat race. He then advanced four positions in the main event to earn a 10th-place finish.
