LARSON MARKS RACING, STEWART RETURN TO DRIVER’S HOME STATE INDIANA INVASION:
The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series travel to the Hoosier state this weekend for back-to-back nights of competition. Avon, Ind. resident, Shane Stewart, and the Larson Marks team will be in action at Plymouth (Ind.) Speedway on Friday, followed up with Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Ind. on Saturday.
LAST YEAR AT PLYMOUTH: In the World of Outlaws’ inaugural event at Plymouth Speedway, Stewart timed in with the 13th-quickest lap time after being the first car out for qualifying. He went on to finish fourth in his heat race and 15th in the main event.
HAUBSTADT HISTORY: In 2015 at Tri-State Speedway, Stewart earned the quickest lap time of the night in qualifying, but didn’t transfer out of his heat race. After winning the Last Chance Showdown, the Bixby, Okla. native finished 15th at the quarter-mile track. Last year, Stewart qualified 17th and finished fifth in his heat race. He then advanced four positions in the main event to earn a 10th-place finish. LARSON MARKS
RACING OWNERS: Larson Marks Racing is co-owned by NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series (NMECS) driver Kyle Larson and IMSA Weathertech SportsCar Series driver Justin Marks. Marks also owns GoPro Motorplex in Mooresville, N.C. Larson will be doing double-duty at Richmond (Va.) International Raceway, competing in both the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NMECS races this weekend.

LOOKING AHEAD: Following Saturday night’s race at Tri-State Speedway, Larson Marks Racing will be back in action on Wednesday, May 3 at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Ark., for last weekend’s rain-postponed Bull Ring Outlaw Blitz.
