Steven Snyder Jr. is joining forces with Three Stooges Racing for the duration of the 2026 World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series campaign.

The Rising Sun, MD native has proven to be one of the sport’s most promising young talents as he’s expanded his Sprint Car portfolio over the last couple of years. Snyder Jr. took the Curt Michael/Heffner Racing No. 27H to Victory Lane at Tri-City Raceway Park last year in only his fifth 410 Sprint Car appearance. Later that month, he collected an All Star Circuit of Champions top five in his Eldora Speedway debut. The 2025 USAC National Midget Rookie of the Year added another victory earlier this year at the famed Williams Grove Speedway on April 3. His efforts have also earned him some Winged Sprint Car seat time with CB Industries/Spire Motorsports this year.

Synder Jr.’s move comes following Ashton Torgerson announcing his departure from the Jeff West-owned No. 51 car. Torgerson began his rookie season with The Greatest Show on Dirt aboard the Shark Racing No. 1A before moving to Three Stooges Racing in May.

Three Stooges Racing launched the 2026 campaign with Scott Bogucki ahead of hiring Torgerson. The team’s best result this year so far is a third at Lawton Speedway with Bogucki.

Snyder Jr.’s first action with Three Stooges Racing will come this weekend (Aug. 7-8) at Pevely, MO’s I-55 Federated Auto Parts Raceway Park for the Ironman 55 before heading to Knoxville Raceway for the 65th NOS Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals presented by Casey’s on Aug. 12-15.
