(2:56 p.m.) It’s a gorgeous day here in Hagerstown, Md., for the World of Outlaws first race at the half-mile oval since 2005. The temperature is in the mid-80s with a slight breeze and no clouds in the sky.
Drivers are starting to filter into the infield, which is where they are pitted. Hot laps are scheduled for 7 p.m., but I’m not exactly sure what the timeline will be tonight. We’ll turn our interactive updates live in a couple of hours and I’ll post more when I know.
