The World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series and Huset’s Speedway have collaborated to finalize the format for the 2026 L.G. Everist Huset’s Shootout set to take place on Friday-Sunday, Sept. 4-6.

A pair of $15,000-to-win prelims utilizing the standard World of Outlaws format and awarding full championship points will lead into a $25,000-to-win/$1,750-to-start show-up points finale at the Brandon, SD oval.

When the big money is on the line Sunday, teams will take on an adjusted format. Points accumulated across the first two nights will line up what promise to be four thrilling Heat Races. The lineups will feature an invert of four cars, and passing points will be tallied on top of Friday and Saturday’s prelim points to help set the stage for the finale.
