Dollansky Charges for Top-10

Fans,
Fans,

Following their second win of the season on Tuesday in Oklahoma, Craig Dollansky and the Big Game Treestands #7 team headed to familiar ground on the World of Outlaws schedule each year, Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, an ultra-fast half-mile Dollansky is a repeat win with the most recent coming in April of 2008.
39 cars signed into the pit area for the opener of Outlaw Thunder Weekend presented by Goodyear with ‘The Crowd Pleaser’ piloting the Aggressive Hydraulics Maxim to the 6th fastest time overall in qualifying at 13.397 seconds.  Starting from inside row two in the second heat race, the field raced into turn one with Joey Saldana racing around the outside of the #7 to take third.  Dollansky continued to hold the 4th spot in the 8-lap event to secure a spot in the feature event.
As the field assembled for the 30-lap A-Main, the Karavan Trailers #7 would start midpack in the thirteenth position.  When the main event got underway, Dollansky moved up one position until the red flag replaced the green on lap 5 for teammate Sammy Swindell.  Another stoppage came the following lap but after that, the race went through a fourteen lap stretch of green flag action until another red came on lap 20, now Dollansky cracked the top ten by running tenth.  As racing resumed, Dollansky fell back a couple positions until the last caution came with just six laps remaining at which point the driver of the Big Game Treestands backed sprinter was able to charge forward to 9th on the restart and record another top ten finish.
The Big Game Treestands #7 team takes on Eldora Speedway again tonight for the conclusion of Outlaw Thunder Weekend.
