The World of Outlaws partnered with Stone Country Records and Quartz Hill Records – part of Benny Brown’s Brown Sellers Brown, LLC – at the beginning of the 2024 season. The two labels present the World of Outlaws’ famous “4-Wide Salute” at every event with a song from one of the labels’ artists being played during the parade lap. Gallaher’s hit song “Stomp” has been the primary track played to help amplify the moment.

Gallaher’s must-hear spin on the iconic Bryan Adams hit showcases the rising star’s signature stand-out vocal chops and lead guitar playing prowess. The modern-day recording – produced by Neil Thrasher and Patrick Thrasher – is a nod to a timeless era of music. Gallaher also performs every guitar part on the track, including the song’s iconic solo.

“As a guitar player, I could have written and played a different solo but really you can’t do that to such an iconic song and sound,” Gallaher said. “On the new recording, I played what Keith Scott [Bryan Adams’ guitar player] played as a tribute. Still, no two guitar players are the same. Even if it’s the same note choices, every player has a different feel.

“Recording ‘Cuts Like a Knife’ leans into my rock influence. It’s a nod to Bryan Adams, who’s such an iconic artist and one of the greatest singers. It’s a tribute to a song that belongs to a timeless era of music.”

Written by Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance, “Cuts Like a Knife” was originally released in May 1983, peaking at No. 6 on the Billboard Top Rock Tracks chart and at No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100.

About Ben Gallaher
A self-taught musician with a strong reverence for guitar masters, Ben Gallaher’s songs radiate a passion for the lyric-driven country music that influenced him as a young boy listening to his parents’ radio in small town Pennsylvania. The burgeoning star’s vocals exude a smoky texture reflective of the backwoods bars in which the young artist honed his unbridled stagecraft, driving to the Eastern corridor to perform each weekend while pursuing a degree in Entertainment Industry Studies at Nashville’s Belmont University.

Lauded by American Songwriter magazine as “a promising young songwriter,” Gallaher has earned more than 24.5 million audio streams to-date as well as a fast-growing fanbase due to his commanding guitar prowess and energetic live shows while opening for the likes of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Hank Williams Jr., Blake Shelton, 3 Doors Down, Lee Brice, Joe Nichols and Gary LeVox and as well as touring the Pennsylvania state prison system for over a decade on his annual, headlining “Prison Tour.”

Gallaher’s most recent effort, “Stomp,” became a viral sensation, with stars from Kristin Chenoweth to Peter Frampton lauding his artistry on socials. To-date, the “Viral Stomp Riff” has earned Gallaher over 34.5 million social views and a quarter of a million Instagram followers. Produced by Neil Thrasher and Patrick Thrasher, both the fully plugged and the acoustic version of “Stomp” are out now. Gallaher’s take on the Bryan Adams’ smash hit, “Cuts Like a Knife,” is available everywhere now.
