Bad Boy Buggies Named Title Sponsor of World of Outlaws World Finals

CONCORD, N.C. (Nov. 3, 2014) – The most prestigious dirt racing event in the country, the Nov. 6-8 World of Outlaws World Finals, is gaining a new title sponsor, outdoor utility vehicle manufacturer Bad Boy Buggies. Today, officials at The Dirt Track at Charlotte announced the entitlement partnership which will last through the 2016 World Finals.

“Bad Boy Buggies is well-connected to the dirt racing industry, with sponsorship ties to Steve Kinser and Tony Stewart Racing in the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series. They’ve also been a marketing partner with Charlotte Motor Speedway for several years,” said Marcus Smith, president and general manager of Charlotte Motor Speedway. “What better fit than to expand that partnership to The Dirt Track at Charlotte around the world’s largest three-day dirt racing event. We look forward to generating brand-building opportunities for Bad Boy Buggies to tens of thousands of fans from across the country and around the world at the World Finals.”

The Bad Boy Buggies World of Outlaws World Finals brings together the top three series in the sport, the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series, the World of Outlaws Late Model Series and the Big-Block Modifieds of the Super DIRTcar Series, for three nights of racing that culminate in the crowning of all three series champions.

“Bad Boy Buggies is excited to be part of the World of Outlaws World Finals,” said Eric Bondy, vice president, consumer for Textron Specialized Vehicles, a division of Textron Inc. that manufactures Bad Boy Buggies.

“World of Outlaws and Charlotte Motor Speedway always put on a great show for the fans, and we look forward to enjoying a special race with Steve Kinser as he completes his last full-time season on the circuit,” Bondy said, “There’s no better way to showcase Bad Boy than by celebrating with the King of the Outlaws in the Queen City!”

Advance tickets and camping sales are pacing ahead of last year’s World Finals and officials expect the weekend to sell out for the sixth consecutive year, but there’s still a great opportunity for dirt racing fans to be a part of the action.

Three-day packages for the Bad Boy Buggies World of Outlaws World Finals are available for $99 for adults and $34 for kids 13 and under.
