Craig Dollansky – 2nd in the World of Outlaws Standings

Craig Dollansky ended the 2012 campaign with a runner-up performance in the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, which was his best finish since 2006. This is also the sixth season since 2001 that Dollansky has placed in the top five in the standings.

Dollansky and his Big Game Treestands team led the championship standings throughout August and into early September when he ran into some California woes.

Dollansky ended the campaign ranked in the top three in feature wins, feature laps led, pole positions earned, quick times, bonus points in qualifying and heat race victories. He was also one of only two drivers with at least 300 feature laps led.

He recorded an impressive win in eight different months at nine tracks, including Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55, Deer Creek Speedway, Castrol Raceway, Lebanon Valley Speedway, Lernerville Speedway, I-96 Speedway, Hagerstown Speedway, Tri-State Speedway and Volusia Speedway Park.

The wins also helped Dollansky surpass 50 in his career with the World of Outlaws, which is a feat only 11 other drivers have ever accomplished.

In addition, Dollansky was named the inaugural champion of the four-race Kasey Kahne Challenge.

Congratulations to Craig Dollansky and his team for a stellar season with the World of Outlaws.
