The World's Fastest Half-Mile! Volusia Speedway Park is an auto racing facility located near Barberville in Volusia County, Florida. Built by Korean War veteran Benny Corbin in 1968, the track currently operates as a traditional 1/2-mile dirt oval. Each January and February, the track hosts the season-opening races for the World of Outlaws, Super DIRTcar Series, American Sprint Car Series, and USAC Non-Wing Sprint Cars. From March to November, the facility welcomes monthly events for the "Fab 5" divisions that include 604 Late Models, 602 Late Models, DIRTcar UMP Modifieds, 3/4 Modifieds, and Factory Stocks.
