CONCORD, NC— Sept. 12, 2017— The World of Outlaws extends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Mike Duvall, who passed on today at the age of 68.
Duvall, also known as the “Flintstone Flyer”, is much remembered for his iconic cartoon paint scheme attracting old and new fans alike. His contributions in the racing industry run much deeper than his easily recognizable car. Duvall’s racing career lasted 43 years, accumulating more than 700 wins. He was entered into the 2001 Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Blakely’s Funeral Home in Gaffney, SC. The Funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Silica Springs Baptist Church, followed by burial at Fredrick Memorial Gardens. Per Mike’s wishes, all drivers attending his funeral, please wear your driving uniform.
