Lanigan Returns to World of Outlaws Tour in 2020 With BWRC

Lanigan

CONCORD, NC – The Barry Wright Race Cars house car returns to the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series in 2020 with its newest driver, three-time Series champion Darrell Lanigan, DirtonDirt.com reported Friday.

After his fifth-place finish in the 2019 points standings, Lanigan left the door open for other possible options for a full-time ride in 2020. A builder of his own Club 29 Race Cars, the Union, KY-native struck a deal with personal friend and nationally renown chassis builder Barry Wright to bring the South Carolina-based operation back on the World of Outlaws tour for the first time since 2018, where Chris Madden drove it to a third-place finish in the season points standings.

Lanigan will replace Ross Bailes in the seat of the BWRC Icon Chassis, who ran a regional schedule with the team in 2019 and scored his first-ever World of Outlaws victory at Cherokee Speedway in early May.

Shawn and Lisa Martin, of Viper Motorsports, began supporting BWRC in 2019 and plan to back the team’s efforts with the Outlaws again in 2020.

Lanigan and the new BWRC Icon will help the Outlaws kick off the 2020 campaign at Vado Speedway Park‘s inaugural Battle at the Border, Jan 2-5, 2020! Get your tickets today to see The Most Powerful Late Models on the Planet invade New Mexico in the link below.
