CONCORD, NC — Inclement weather in Tennessee has forced World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series and track officials to reschedule this weekend’s events. The new date for Duck River Raceway Park will be Friday, March 22, and the new date for Smoky Mountain Speedway will be Saturday, March 23, keeping the two-step tour through Tennessee together.

While both tracks have made every effort to prepare their facilities to welcome the best Dirt Late Model drivers in the country, the challenging weather conditions ahead this weekend will make it impossible for racing.

“All of us were geared up to resume the season this weekend, but Mother Nature is not going to cooperate,” World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series Director Casey Shuman said. “We made the decision to move the weekend to March 22 and 23 in the best interest of the fan and competitor experience. We can’t wait to fire back up with big car counts and big crowds.”
