About Ricky Weiss
The Manitoba Missile Ricky Weiss joined the full-time World of Outlaws roster for the first time in his career in 2019 after several seasons racing regionally with the WISSOTA Late Models, where he won 5 championships from 2010-2018.With guidance from National Dirt Late Model Hall-of-Famer Scott Bloomquist, Weiss set out on the road for his first national tour attempt, chasing the Rookie of the Year title. He and the crew at Weiss Racing put together the single greatest Rookie season in tour history, bagging a third-place finish in overall points and an astounding 13 podium finishes to become the first Canadian-born driver to win the Rookie of the Year Award.
2019’s impressive results landed Weiss a blockbuster sponsorship deal with Drydene Performance Products for the 2020 season, joining Bloomquist and veteran pilot Chris Madden on “Team Drydene” for his second year as a full-time Outlaw.
